Noah Siegel, Lead Organizer
Noah is passionate about learning, sharing and bringing people together. Therefore, it is no surprise that Noah loves TED. He is consistently enthralled with people’s stories, accomplishments and drive and is amazed by the abundance of novel ideas and accomplishments here in Boston. This enthusiasm let Noah to come up with the concept of TEDxKenmoreSquare.
Originally from Detroit, Noah has lived and worked in the Boston area for 23 years. He is a physician and surgeon at Massachusetts Ear infirmary and Massachusetts General hospital, and is faculty at Harvard Medical School. He is board certified in both Sleep Medicine and Otolaryngology. In addition to his medical practice, he is on the Board of Director for a global non-profit which delivers cleft lip and palates surgery internationally. Noah also acts as the Chairman of his town’s Lake Management Study committee. He is regularly a featured speaker regionally and nationally.
Noah enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, loves traveling, running, audiobooks and spending time on the water.
Carmine Morreale, Co-Organizer
Carmine has been enthusiastically sharing TED talks with family and friends since he discovered the treasure of “ideas worth spreading” for over a decade.
Originally from Brooklyn, he studied at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts. As Director of Boston Center for Oral Health, near Kenmore Square, he leads a team committed to helping people reach their optimum health. A Diplomate of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, he has an expertise in helping people achieve restorative sleep with the use of oral appliance therapy.
He enjoys making sculptures, kettle bell training, cooking, dance, karaoke, snowboarding, surfing, and time with family and friends.
Alison Siegel, Co-Organizer
Alison is addicted to TED talks. She listens when driving her kids to school, when out on her runs, when cooking, when gardening, and when shopping for groceries. She loves the diversity of topics, she loves being able to connect with speakers all over the world by simply plugging in her headphones, and most of all, she loves sharing the inspiration she finds with friends and family. Alison believes in TED. She believes that we are creating a community of learners, of innovators, and of change makers. She has been a resident of the greater Boston area for over 2 decades, and she is beyond thrilled to be part of TEDxKenmoreSquare. Alison is trained as a neurologist with a subspecialty in epilepsy and sleep disorders. She received her B.S. and M.D. from Yale and completed her residency and fellowships at Harvard. She was a staff neurologist at Massachusetts General Hospital until the birth of her second son. Her current interest is plant based nutrition as preventative medicine.
Peter Ross, Co-Organizer
Peter has defined the vision, strategy, and culture of 829 Studios since its founding in 2007. It has been his mission to help clients transform their data into strategy and provide an integrated approach that blends creativity with technological sophistication. He is constantly hunting for new opportunities clients can leverage to achieve differentiation, develop competitive advantages, and better communicate their brand story.
Peter received his Executive MBA from Imperial College London and primarily focuses his time on business consulting, marketing strategy, site architecture, frontend/backend development, SEO/SEM, and interactive media.
Cole Young, Co-organizer
Cole has been a proud resident of Kenmore Square and has experienced its changes firsthand. Originally from Detroit, Cole studied civil engineering at Michigan State and then attended New York Law School. He is a partner in a boutique construction and real estate law firm, Strang Scott, which used to be located in the Kenmore Square “Citgo Sign” building. Cole is excited for the upcoming renovations in Kenmore and hopes the firm will one day return to its former residence.
Cole enjoys traveling every chance he gets, reading anything he can get his hands on, and spending time with his wife Erin and their dog Stella.
Julia Keefe, Co-Organizer
Julia is an Account Coordinator at ELEMENT Productions, one of New England’s largest independent full-service video production, post-production, and content marketing companies. At ELEMENT she splits her time supporting the company’s CEO and managing client projects. Those projects range from digital marketing campaigns to full-scale video productions and along the way Julia plays a hand in managing timelines, budgets, and scopes.
A recent graduate of UMass Amherst, her passion for creativity and strategy drove her to combine Marketing, Communication, and Journalism into a customized degree in Advertising. She stayed involved on campus through the Isenberg Marketing Club and UMass AdLab - and won a national advertising competition (keep an eye out for her billboard on Route 93).
Julia is thrilled to support TEDxKenmoreSquare.
Sarah Greisdorf, Co-Organizer
Sarah Greisdorf has only recently begun to call Kenmore Square her home, but is already enthralled with its culture and vibrancy.
A sophomore at Boston University, Sarah is passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology. She funneled these interests into her computer science and graphic design studies, as well as extracurricular endeavors like BU’s BostonHacks and TechTogether programs. Sarah is currently running BU Spark!’s interaction design fellowship program, where graphic design students partner with computer science students to develop and design technical projects.
Additionally, Sarah is currently founding Holdette, a monthly subscription box for women’s clothing with functional pockets. A Boston transplant from Bethseda, Maryland, Sarah enjoys exploring the city with her friends, spending time with her family on the North Shore, and collaborating on new projects.
Erin Hull, Co-Organizer
Erin Hull is originally from upstate New York, but made her way to New England to attend Endicott College in Beverly, and has never looked back since. At Endicott, she majored in hospitality management and had the opportunity to experience many different work settings through a number of internships. After college, she joined the team at Aramark, working with the events team to sell, book, and coordinate a large scope of events for the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. Erin now works as an assistant to local restaurateur Garrett Harker (Eastern Standard, Island Creek Oyster Bar, The Hawthorne, Row 34 and Branch Line), providing support on ever-evolving projects. As Eastern Standard, Island Creek Oyster Bar, and The Hawthorne are all located in the heart of Kenmore Square, Erin is very excited to contribute as an organizer towards TEDxKenmoreSquare 2019.
